Modern Working Proud to Support The Canny Lads in Their Summer 7s Campaign
Modern Working was proud to sponsor The Canny Lads throughout their Rugby 7s campaign, as a talented squad from across the North East and North West competed in four tournaments while raising money for Dementia UK. With plenty of tries, great rugby and lots of fun, the campaign was a fantastic success. In the days leading up to the Macclesfield 7s, Nigel Barnes and Olly Cully combined business planning with supporting the team for a memorable weekend.

The Conductor opens for business
35,000 sqft premium workspace is launched by URW and IWG
Modern Working is proud to have supported The Conductor — a landmark new flexible workspace destination adjacent to Westfield Stratford City — on behalf of IWG. Working closely with the developer consortium led by Unibail-Rodamco-Wetfield (URW), alongside IWG’s operations, delivery and legal teams, Modern Working helped secure and progress this exceptional project from concept through to completion.
Officially opened in April-26, The Conductor delivers 35,000 sq ft of hospitality-led workspace at Coppermaker Square in Stratford, combining premium design and flexibility in one of London’s fastest-growing business districts.
The result is a stunning new workspace environment that reflects the continued evolution of the flexible office sector and the growing demand for high-quality, experience-led workplaces.

Norwich, 49 Roundtree Way
New warehouse letting
Modern Working is pleased to have represented AXIS CLC in securing a new 2,500 sq ft warehouse and ancillary office facility in Norwich, supporting a major new regional project for the business. Working closely with AXIS CLC’s operations team and legal advisers, Modern Working coordinated negotiations and delivery across an accelerated programme to secure a refurbished premises that closely matched the operational and occupational requirements of the project team. The transaction highlights Modern Working’s continued focus on delivering agile property solutions for operationally intensive occupiers across the UK.
